# Chainmail Set

Each piece of the Chainmail Set has a special recipe that can only be obtained by getting the specific recipe book! The main advantage of chainmail armor is that it offers decent protection, however it is costly to craft. Players can further increase the damage reduction this set provides to 40% if they wear under it [Leather Clothing](/tribals.io-wiki/items/armor-and-clothing/leather-set.md).
