Tribals.io Wiki

Tribals.io is an online survival game which runs in the browsers. Players wake up on an island and try to find their way into safety.

Tribals.io launched on 9 October 2022 and the global launch was on 1 December 2022.

Gameplay

Players gather resources and build bases to survive. Some items need to be processed before use, and players must protect their buildings from threats. You can place various structures on the map and craft equipment to help you survive.

Crafting

Players can make equipment and structures. You need resources to craft items. Anything you craft can be carried, traded, or stored in Storage Boxes.

Building

To build, you need a Building Plan. It's in the first section of the crafting menu. You can craft it with 1x Leaf or claim it by watching an ad. With the Building Plan in hand, hold down the right-click to choose what to build, select the structure you want, then hold down the left mouse button to place it. You can only build if you have enough resources. All buildings can decay over time.

Decay system

Decay is a force that constantly harms your buildings, damaging them overtime. Every structure players make is affected by Decay. To protect buildings, players need to place a Toolbox and put resources such as: Wood, Stone, Iron Fragment, and Iron Bar inside of it.

An Upgrade Hammer can also fix buildings. You can use it manually with the required resources to repair your base.

Along with repairing buildings, the Toolbox also lets players own land. Players can't place a Toolbox within the radius of another Toolbox, which is about 10 platforms away. The Toolbox creates a protective area around it, preventing other players from building nearby.

The Toolbox is the most important structure of a base. It is crucial to place it in a hard-to-reach, strategic location, and lock it! The Toolbox provides ownership to connected building elements. Any player who opens it gains ownership. "Owned" building elements take more damage from their owners when they aren’t being hit with bare hands.

Territorial Conflicts

The lands of Tribals.io are vast, but some areas are better than others. Players often secure high-value areas for themselves and their allies by building and setting up defenses, like huge walls, spikes, or traps.

Many players prefer to take resources from others rather than gather them from the land, making it hard to roam and farm freely. Raiding houses is another way to play Tribals.io. It is often easier to break into poorly protected houses than to farm for resources.

Trading

Trading among players in Tribals.io is based on trust because players must meet in person to exchange goods, which can sometimes lead to conflicts. The Vending Machine lets players create secure sale listings for items they want to sell. Owners can decide how many items are needed for each trade, asking for a maximum of 5000 items from the list below:

The profits from sales are transferred into the safe tab in the Vending Machine, visible only to the owner.
