# Corn

Players can use "Corn fields" as a shield against ranged weapons! Corn can be cooked in a [Campfire](/tribals.io-wiki/building-elements/camp-fire.md) or in a [Smelter](/tribals.io-wiki/building-elements/smelter.md). This way players can create an all time favorite the [Popcorn](/tribals.io-wiki/items/food/popcorn.md)! Corn will respawn in 2-5 minutes after being harvested!
