# Pistol
The main advantage of Pistol is that it isn't visible on the Player at any form when they have it in their Inventory. Players mostly use Pistols to ambush other players, pretending that they don't have anything on them. Players can also get Pistols at the [Pirate Event](/tribals.io-wiki/special-events/pirate-event.md)!\
To craft a Pistol players need to have a [Pistol Book](/tribals.io-wiki/items/books/pistol-book.md) in the [Workbench](/tribals.io-wiki/building-elements/workbench.md). Players will be able to craft Pistols as long as the Pistol Book stays usable! A Pistol is only useful if players have [Pistol Ammo](/tribals.io-wiki/items/ammunition/pistol-ammo.md) in their inventory!
